(FOR GUYS) Do you feel sorry for black girls when it comes to interracial dating and are we the least desired?

My question comes from a guy who felt this way. I'm going to assume he's white though I can't see his face but that's what he said in a nutshell. I didn't answer the Q because I couldn't gather myself to do so and dignify with what I personally felt was stupidity whether true or not. Then I began to wonder is this how many people feel? Please rate this question I want as many opinions as I can get. This was his description and I quote

I find it hard to believe we are less desired considering women get ass implants lip injections to get the features that come to US black women naturally and even the breast area but its all opinion anyway but hell I could be wrong as well as the ones who think My race is less desired.

Thank you for everyone's input- the valid and the ones that were of plain ignorance. It just showed that some individuals will look for any opportunity to put others down when they got the chance while others gave me an answer and explained their reasoning why they thought/felt a certain way which was all I asked for.

I think I am an anomally. I am a tall, skinny dark skinned black girl, big breasts, long legs with small facial features , a flat ass and naturally curly silky non-kinky hair that grows very long on it's own no weave. Hmmm. I ve been told I look like Black Barbie. My hair is naturally medium brown. My face has been described as "angelic" small waist, thin lips.

I guess I do not fit into the black stereotype category, as I am an honor student and honors graduate with an advanced degree who speaks proper English, a size 4-6 and 5 feet 9 inches of mostly legs.

The whole black woman thing is so exagerrated and stereotypical. I have walked with my equally beautiful black highly educated female friends (surgeon and professor) and people just stare at us like we are aliens.

People are taking a small percentage of black women and making it the whole, that's unfair. My boyfriend is not only white, he is the cream of the crop white. European, extremely intelligent,highly educated, tall and model looking with an athletic build, gorgeous and rich. Like is attracted to like. I like that I can be an example and inspiration to black women that you just need to take care of yourselves and have confidence. Which we already do.

Maybe try the forieghn white men, even Halle Berry dates non-American white men.

I'm a black female who pretty much only dates interracially. I've given up on black men seeing as most of them have made me feel inadequate for not possessing more European features. They'll make me feel desirable in terms of my body type but then say "You're pretty to be dark" which is basically like saying "You sure do have nice teeth for a homeless person! :o" I know not all black men are going to be like the black men from my past. But I'm not waiting around for a "good black man". It's not my style. Anyway, I've had no trouble finding guys to date. I've had all kinds of guys hit on me. I think it ultimately comes down to you as an individual. The way you present yourself and your personality. Also the open mindedness of the guy. But lets assume for a moment that it is true.. that black girls are the least desired.

How much would this really matter? You'd attract less guys but in my honest opinion, those types of guys that you would not be attracting wouldn't be worth getting involved with anyway. The guys that you will attract will see you more for who you are as a person. Something the guys who would be turned off by your race wouldn't give a damn about. So you can look at it as either a curse or a blessing.

I've seen gorgeous black girls who have no problem at all getting any man so it's not true that people think blacks are less desirable. I have only been with one girl, for six years, she is Puerto Rican. I have absolutely no bias and if my girl was exactly who she is now except black I would still date her, regardless of what anyone thinks. My dad always told me that it doesn't matter what others think about your relationship, it is all about you and her because when your alone that is all that matters.

Not many ( if any) girls turn my head. I can appreciate beauty but (I am just not the type). It has happened only once that I saw a girl and was so blown away that I kept turning my head and looking at her. She appeared to half black and half white and is probably one of the best looking/most attractive people I have come across EVER. There are only 2 girls that fit in her league in terms of beauty ( one is her and then there was this one other white girl). Not even any of the supermodels known make that cut...that is how good looking that 1/2 black and 1/2 white girl was. Therefore no, its not skin color that determines beauty and its all about personal preferences. For example; Asian women come off as exotic and can be very attractive looking. However, I would prefer not to mate with one because I wouldn't want my kind to have Mongolian features. Not that they are bad but it is just very different looking from how I look and I would want my kids to look like me.

When I talked about "not challenging male ego", my experience was related to Black women in Africa. The same is true of Asian women too, in some parts. But the Westernised ones are as good (or, if you're male like me, as challenging) as Western women :-)

I think Black women are making a mistake in aspiring for White guys. Just like if I aspired to mating very, very rich women, I would end up very, very disappointed! Race and class unfortunately, still very mixed!

I've got to say I actually prefer Black, Asian and Latina women! I just prefer a darker skin genrally though, but where I live I would have a lot of trouble to find a decently intelligent black girl in my hometown thanks to the lethal combination of sub-culture, racial expectations and failure within the English school system to treat all students equally! Don't try that because nothing is equal in this world and has never been. I've experienced it myself and pretty damn smart. The US wasn't designed for me to be successful but I seem to be managing pretty well

Well, in poorer/rougher areas the local councils always seem to decide it makes more sense to plow money into building new schools to give the illusion of progress and success, than working to help young people in these areas to engage with academia. It's easier for them to fund programs which try and keep kids off the streets (which is still reasonable) than it is to help them before they decide it's a good idea to drink, smoke, vandalise and stab each other.

Most people don't date interracial, according to federal statistics, so it's not much of an issue. And not to be harsh, a lot of black girls would be waaay better off in dating without the attitude and the extra weight.
