Could workout clothes and pajamas be used interchangeably?

What's the difference between pajamas and work out clothes?

Sweat pants, Yoga pants, Sweaters, Comfy t-shirt / blouse

Pretty much the same, right?

(excluding night gowns and anything babydoll sexy like to sleep in)

Could they be interchangeable? I could basically wear pajama/sweat pants at the gym and I can also wear Yoga pants to sleep in, right?

Yes. Pajamas and workout clothes can be can be used for either.

No. People at the gym should not wear pajamas.

I voted B. If you're doing an actual workout, you shouldn't be able to get by with just wearing comfy clothes. Maybe a comfy shirt, sure, but sweatpants? I don't know anyone who works out in those. And I feel like wearing yoga pants to bed wouldn't actually be as comfy as you'd think.

I know a lot of people who work out in sweat pants and sweatshirt, and I am sleeping is very thing yoga pants as I'm typing this. They are super comfy! It's a chill night and it's soft to my skin. Why not?

Really haha? What sorts of things do they do? I mean, one of the main things about a workout is that when you put an effort in, you start to get hot.

And alright, that's fine - I mean, I can't myself say I know what it's like. I've never tried yoga pants on before :P

So, no. Sure, some people might like wearing yoga pants to bed. But I don't think yoga pants were made for sweating in... so they're more comfort clothes / flexible clothes for women than they are workout clothes. It's not like they were made for running.

And most sweat pants definitely weren't made for working out in.

LOL yup. You didn't know that before? It's not like people wear minimal amounts of clothing to be slutty (although a few do). It's cause they get sweaty and hot when they workout, as a normal person should.

yesterday I did one hour cardio and one hour on weights for legs and butt! :D

Today I did 2 hours cardio and 2 hours weights on arms and upper body, my legs are killing me today and my butt :( lol

That's... a lot. Haha. You don't need to do that much! It's actually a waste of your time. Go for quality over quantity. If you wanna do cardio to burn fat, maybe go for a half an hour jog (outside or on a treadmill) or stationary bike ride. It's good that you do weights, too. If you wanna do weights and cardio in the same workout, you should do the weights before the cardio. Do the main exercises for the weights - squats, presses, etc.

I didn't do 4 hours straight. I did 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours at night.. But I won't be doing that again, I'm so sore! Anyway, I thought I was supposed to do the cardio first and then the weights? Everyone fees me different information. I like my routine now though, because if I do weights first won't I be too weak from my muscles to keep up with the cardio? I believe so.

Well, it's the other way around - if you do cardio first, you'll be too tired to perform well on the weights.

Really, you only need to be working out for max an hour. Half an hour weights, half an hour cardio, if you want. Or 15 min weights, 45 min cardio. I'd recommend 3-5 (or 6) times a week. So basically you should try quartering the amount of workout you did the other day :P

So yeah I guess for you it doesn't matter too much if you do weights before cardio or vice versa. But in /any/ case, don't do four hours in one day! HUGE waste of time and energy.

Ah, no, I 've never seen anyone work out publicly in pajamas or anything resembling pajamas. At least, not any sort of pajamas as most of us think of them. You mean working out at home? Well,sure, whatever you want.

Well I workout in a sports bra and shorts and I sleep in a sports bra and shorts so...I guess yeah, as long as they aren't the same sports bra and shorts.
