Girls with abs look great in my opinion.
Most of the time you don't see a girls abs/stomach until you take her to the beach or get her shirt off.
If her body is somewhat the right shape and she has a pretty face then a guy will probably be attracted to her.
Discovering she has abs isn't going to be a deal breaker or maker for most guys once we discover them or the absence of them.
In my personal opinion, having a flat stomach is nice.
Yet I have to say being ripped is less attractive than a little belly fat.
I wonder how is is possible that I have two opinions on this question?

I prefer girls who are either toned (with defined abs), or with flat belly, but I never liked girls with belly fat.
My type of girls are basically fit & athletic & sporty, or skinny as the second favorite, but never fat.

Girls with abs are not weird at all... I like a girl that can take a punch to the gut lol joke... I think its hot... there's a lot of models/actresses that have abs like Jessica Alba etc etc.
In my experience guys don't like it. Generally they'd prefer a girl with a little belly fat over a girl with more abs then them lol. Also this question is funny because not too long ago someone asked a more general question about girls with 6 packs and almost all guys said they were gross. The guys answering now won't be entirely honest because you said you have abs so they don't want to offend you
No. Just no. In my experience, they like definition, but if your abs look better than theirs they throw a tantrum lol. Google models instead of abs and try for that and you'll see what they like. Trust me, I like having abs as much as the next girl, but I don't let myself get too carried away with it. I keep my body within the area where my boyfriend likes it.
I would also like to point out that 12 pack abs don't actually exist...

It's actually a lot easier for women to achieve this kind of ab definition than it is for men.
Women don't store "stubborn" fat on their stomachs, unless they have problems with high androgens (= testosterone and its metabolites). And if a woman has that problem, she'll probably be at least 40-50lbs overweight and have PCOS type symptoms.
For all other women, fat comes off the stomach pretty early. If you go to gyms much, you've probably seen a number of women who actually have cut abs, but still have a substantial amount of "stubborn" fat on their hips and thighs, often in the form of cellulite.
Occasionally, you'll even see cardio queens whose abs are pretty ripped, but who have flabby hips. (Cardio can mobilize women's stomach fat -- which is then re-deposited on the hips if the women eat the wrong stuff at the wrong time post-workout.)
So, the kind of abs in pic #3, at least, is attainable. It's about 75 percent diet, 15 percent workouts, and 10 percent supplements.
Girl #1 is probably taking at least some supplemental androgens (low dose steroids, or at least something like DHEA that mimics their effects). I mean, look at the proportions of her arm muscles, and her abs relative to the rest of her trunk. Not typically female proportions.
i love abs like in those pictures, but here we go...
girl 1: genuinely nice abs, i can tell how hard she's flexing here so i can tell theyre pretty natural and wouldn't look so aggressive day to day.
girl 2: photoshopped. a girl with her muscle mass cannot have abs that look like this. they do not make sense. everything is disproportioned for abs like this. the lighting for the picture was just right and the definition is absolutely photoshopped. although im sure they look good without all that crap but ladies realize those are not real.
girl 3. im almost positive there's some shading and definitely serious filters going on here
Nah, I know a few women who have abs that sorta look like girl #2's. But, there are some things to keep in mind.
#1, that's a photoshoot. She probably dieted for at least 4-6 weeks, so that she could look like that for AT MOST 4 or 5 hours, on the day of the photoshoot. It's not like she goes around looking like that on random days.
(I mean, bodybuilders -- like, the hardcore kind -- rarely keep their peak stage shape for more than 20 or 30 MINUTES.)
#2, she probably uses cosmetics to contour and shade around her abs, in exactly the same way most women know how to do (at least some) contouring on their faces.
Really, that's a thing. A thing that pretty much every woman in the fitness industry does.
#3, drugs.
#4, it's not impossible that she's even had liposculpture (= small-scale, detailed liposuction) around that area. In fact, it's more than likely.
Yeah sure, why not? you wanna fight about it? Most chicks don't though, unless they're petite black girls or something, then maybe they're toned but generally women don't get anything beyond 6pack because they naturally hold more body fat, and if you don't then you are likely prescribed to take estrogen supplements. I guess my friend with a deep voice as near as my own had something of a 6pack but she was tall and skinny forever; it was kinda funny seeing her pregnancy pictures, like she swallowed a medicine ball
anywho, naturally some men might be intimidated or whatever but they're not ready and never will be (probably). Fat, skinny, I like women.
I once dated a gymnast, very toned girl, looked HOT, and well, the super toned muscles from the waist and below felt amazing too, but she also had quite muscular arms, and the abs were too muscular, I mean, yours can be defined and that is nice but if they go to the point were they are too "manly" I honestly think they still look nice, but when touching is not that sexy, not a turn off, but not as sexy.
I don't hate them. they fact that she works hard to stay in shape is a turn on. but when the skin gets too tight, to muscle ripply, etc, it doesn't look good anymore.
strong, athletic, hard working, women look great. but everything has a limit where it starts looking less good, then even more less good, and then on down to frightening.
Every guy is different but my most direct answer is most Girls see abs and think omg those abs, thats sexy, hot or whatever. So obviously they are attracted to them. When guys see abs on a girl they just, wow she's fit, damn she's got abs. But we dont really see it as sexy. Unless its in a way where he thinks its sexy because its obvious she works out and is not lazy. As in hea attracted to her discipline. But the abs themselves is not really something guys see as hot the way girls do. Some guys even find them unattractive because they think its masculine which in. my opinion I think its silly. Me myself, as far as physical attraction, if she has abs i dont care as long as she has feminine features and doesn't look like a man. Men usually talk and boobs or butt which I like because you im a guy lol but Im more of a leg person. Nice legs on a woman attract me. Anyways i hope this answer helped.
The likelyhood is if a guy is so concerned with your physical appearance that he won't bother with you then you dodged a bullet. However there's nothing wrong with being fit and healthy and I dont know too many men who would see a girl with abs as an issue.
And being overweight increases the odds of miscarriages as well. As well as having a stillborn, a recurrent miscarriage, gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, an abnormally difficult vaginal delivery, sleep apnea, and cardiac dysfunction.
There are far more health risks from being out of shape than being in shape.
I think you look great!! I like the appearance of abs on anyone. It looks better than having a soft flabby stomach with no definition. The gym i go to is owned by an IFBB Body-Builder, there's lots of women who workout there who have a muscular body. I admire them because it takes motivation and dedication to have that appearance.

Ok jokes aside girls with a bit of muscle are very attractive to me, just not heaps. Girls are kinda the same, they like muscley guys just not to body builder levels.

Guys are insecure when a girl is fitter than them so they would say no most of the time. However, I doubt a fit guy would have a porblem with that as long as it is naturally achievable (which for most women doesn't go beyond some definition. You can't get bulky abs naturally if you are a girl or huge muscles in general). I mean, what athletic guy have you seen rejecting a girl because she had abs?
I'm a semi-professional mixed martial artist but I prefer girls that are not ripped and muscular like me. I prefer softer stomachs. Just because I have abs doesn't mean I want a girl with a hard stomach with prominent abs.
The point was guys get insecure when the girl is in better shape, not just abs alone. Also, having vidible abs is rather due to low body fat on that area. You don't have to build them for them to show

Wow, I didn't now i am unfeminine. Lol, I actually have a very feminine figure, which implies i have very little fat on my stomach, small waist and wide hips, so somtimes my abs show, even if I don't work them out.
And the one who doesn't comprehend is you. Men who are most turned off by any muscular definition on women are the lazy unfit ones. I haven't seen many guys who lift saying they want fat women or women with saggy butts and boobs, because that is how you end up looking in time if you don't exercise.
And i agree, bulky abs don't look feminine, however, as I said, most women can't achieve more than some definition on their abs. 6-8 packs are rare, bulky abs are a good sign of steroid use.

My girlfriend is so hot, she has a ripped eight pack, I only have six. She can do about 150 sit ups and I can do 100. She also can do a plank for four minutes longer and she can even do planche push ups and punch bag sit-ups, all of which I can't do. I love to lick her abs and punch them and then she laughs at how soft mine are compared to her. She is so sexy, I love it when she shows that she is stronger than me by flexing or having sit-ups competitions, especially planche push ups and punch bag sit ups because I can't do any. So long as you aren't like on steroids no that is not weird at all and I think it looks great. You don't need to worry about judgmental people anyways. More often then not I can't take my eyes off them not because I think it is weird but really really attractive

I'm not gonna lie to you just because you have and and a vagina. No, we typically don't. We like a toned belly, or a little chub, depending on the guy. In EVERYTHING there is exceptions to the rule. The pines on the sides of the abs are nice, but when you start splitting, especially over 4, that's not commonly considered attractive.
Thats a little too much work on the abs. I dont mind if you can feel them or see the abs but if its harder than mine and more defined there's an issue. xD
12 pack isn't possible and there is onwly one known person with a 10 pack, so no I wouldn't date a girl like that because she likely used abnormal means to get them. A 6 and 8 pack would be fine though.
Nope. Just a flat surface which can be toned with some muscle but abs, definitely nope. It's great to see a girl that cares about her body and works out, but seeing a girl with abs makes me turn my head to the other side.

It's only hot at a particular Goldy locks zone to say. Personally, I like it if it is visible, but not totally shredded abs. Still, I like abs on a girl.
I dislike it, even though I am a proud owner of a sixpack myself, but for me it takes away part of the femininity of a womanās body. Nature gave them a higher body fat percentage and it should be kept that way. I might even say that I feel less masculine being around girls with abs. Im a man and I myself am a fitness fiend with an 8 pack. I do prefer dating women who are fit and work out. However a healthy woman is supposed to have 15-20% body fat hence the saying women have curves. ;-) At that range you cannot have a six pack with the extremely rare exception. IMHO when a woman goes below 10% body fat she starts looking unhealthy and a bit like a man. So if a man is attracted to women with such low BMI it begs a few questions...
