Are girls who can't cook unattractive?

I could maybe make mac and cheese... and I know how to make eggs.. I can make basic things, but anything creative or from scratch is impossible lol Is this unattractive?

Willingness to cook is Attractive! You could be a horrible a cook, but if you make the effort to try to cook, even if it comes out horrible, I'll find it attractive that you tried!

I would never expect someone to be really good, but I would definitely want someone who is willing to try.

The cooking issue would only be a turn off for me, if a girl acted as if she was too good to ever try to cook.

It is unattractive, especially because I can cook and that generally speaking cooking is not difficult at all. Growing up most if not all women I know could cook and I think that it is a fantastic feather to have in a womans cap. I don't ask for too much from a girl, but culinary skills are important. If she is willing to learn then that is alright, but if she is just lazy then it's on to the next one

The is NO REASON for anyone to not know how to cook in this day in age. Everything you could possibly need to know is on the internet. I think that it's a turn off for anyone to not be able to cook. Girl, guy, hermaphrodite, transgender.. it's just not cool

Lol. You're still young so there is time. I think every adult should be able to take care of themselves, that includes cooking. I'd like at a grown woman who couldn't cook a little strange. I can cook, why can't she? It's really not that hard. Get a cookbook and follow the directions. Lol.

Haha. Well see that is the greater turnoff..laziness. I hate that more than anything. You are still a kid basically so it's not something that's so bad now, but for a grown woman to be too lazy to cook for herself raises flags. It also makes her look a little spoiled. Just know how to cook by 22 and you can avoid being labeled.

I cook and like to experiment in the kitchen but if I'm cooking for myself or just for 2 I usually avoid too complicated dishes that take too much work, even if they taste great. I only cook those kinds of food when I'm having a cooking party with my friends. For myself, I do cook e.g. Indian, casserole, etc. but I always try to make it simple. Is that still considered laziness?

@Daph81...no that's fine. That's normal. I'm talking about grown women who want someone else to do things for them, eg. cooking, laundry, etc. Every adult, man or woman should have the ability to cook for themselves if needed.

Haha. Yeah we wouldn't be a good match. I've broken up with girls for wanting to lay around and watch TV all the time. Just a pet peeve of mine. Life needs to be lived.

lol given the opportunity, who (man or woman) doesn't want to just sit around enjoying life? My 28-y.o. neighbor actually declines a job offer that pays good because she wants to "enjoy life" and still asks her father for money. But back to cooking: cooking is actually pretty fun and rewarding, compared to other chores =)

@question asker: it's normal for your age to be lazy. But once you move out of your parent's house you'll learn to do things on your own because no one will do it for you.

It's somewhat indifferent, depends what the woman wants for her future, meaning to get a job or the classic "man goes to work, woman takes care of the house" thing.

Knowing how to cook is attractive but not knowing isn't unattractive, if that makes sense.

My girl used to suck at cooking. She is improving a bit but I am a great cook so it doesn't matter. I think a woman that is a good mother is a better trait and is more attractive than their cooking ability.

My ex couldn't cook if her life depended on it LOL. I didn't mind. One look at her beuatiful eyes or her looong legs, and I'd had a compeletly different kind of a hunger if you know what I mean.
