Yes, men need to talk just like women do. Maybe not about the same things but they have to talk to somebody. A guy calling you does not automatically mean romantic interest. It could be sexual interest or he just wants someone to talk to. If a guy less you he will let you know up front. Even shy guys will let a girl know. My shy guy friend let me know that he wanted to be with me. Also I have a guy friend who randomly texts me and calls me twice a week and he does not like me in a romantic way. In fact he is gay.
yep. I'll be like well I was thinking of you and just wanted to talk to you:) Honestly, it could be he's bored, he likes you, he enjoys talking to you, he's lonely. It's hard to tell. I think if he just talks about general stuff then he probably likes you as a friend, but if he asks about you and shows a general interest in who you are, then he probably really likes you.
Guys don't usually do this for no reason whatsoever. Usually there's a reason. If there's know reason, then chances are he's got it bad for the girl and he just wants to chat. Like he just has to hear her voice or hear about her life. Something like that.
So no, not usually, unless he really likes her.

Well it's probably because he likes you ( most guys can fall in love with there best friend girl) I know that cause I have a lot of friend girls and I fell for most of them..
Another reason is probably he feels lonely or he is having trouble at home or some other place and by hearing your voice or talking to you makes him feel better.. Or maybe he just likes talking to you cause you two text alot
I do this time to time, because I usually do what my heart says.
Maybe he's been feeling a bit lonely or down as of late, and speaking to you makes him feel better.
