Would you spend an hour on the phone with a guy you are not interested in?

So, here is the situation: I met a girl (25) online and we spent some time texting back and forth. Then we went out for a few dates (6 in total). When I invited her over to my place at the end of the last one, she said she wanted and also didn't, because she has a lot on her plate right now. I mean, she has talekd about all the things she has to take care of before. I was like "OK, no worries". After the date she texted me to thank me for a great time. Few days later she suggested two days she was available to meet up, but had to cancel both due to some medical stuff I had no reason to doubt. I told her, it was OK and that she should let me know when she would want to go out again. Since the text intensity lowered and she did not suggest any new time. So I decided to call her and we had two phone calls - one hour each. But she claims she doesn't have time for at least two weeks now (one week is her vacation abroad). I honestly don't know what to make of this. Would you spend so much time on the phone with someone you are not interested in?

If he's a friend and I like chatting with him, yes of course. I can be a bit chatty sometimes, so an hour will go quickly.

As for your situation... smells fishy. I don't know. I'm not in her head. My first impression was that it looks like distancing. But... that does happen when someone is busy. If she's traveling, it definitely takes up a lot of time getting things ready.

Don't get ahead of yourself and assume it's doomed. Let it play itself out, wish her a good time on her trip and when she comes back, give her a call.

Smells a bit fishy to me too. I mean, it was always a bit tough to schedule a date with her and usually she would come later than agreed, but she always made effort and the dates were quite long. Now she is much less active. When discussing some plans for one of the dates she said something in lines of 'I know it is tough with me, but don't panic and bear with me'. So I try. What baffles me, this "distancing" started after her suggesting times for next dates.

I am aware she might be also meeting with other guys. But if she would be not interested anymore, I would aprecciate her saying so after so much time invested on both sides.

We will see how it plays out.

Maybe she's either just very busy currently and doesn't really have time to meet, or she suddenly changed her mind and lost interest in you.. Who knows? The way things are there's nothing you can do

Give it some time. However I wouldn't suggest waiting forever for her to make up her mind. She should go out with you or make time when she can, too many excuses could mean she might prioritize everything else but you.
