Why do professional athletes hook up w escorts? I know it happens. Why pay for play? because even the nice guys seem to do it. Should you stay away from dating a pro? Are they ever serious about a girl?

btw, I would like to say to the person who called me as a "gold digger," I met the pro because he is my neighbor. He moved in next to me over the summer. I am successful and don't need his money.

Probably because it's cheaper, easier to get, and there are no expectations to bang an escort then it is to wine and dine some gold digger that's trying to stab you in the back because you're making a million a year for playing ball. With an average escort charging $200 an hour, going out on two dates to an upscale restaurant with some girl that just sees a dollar sign on his head anyway is more costly and time consuming. He can order a girl over, do the dead and tell her to leave and then catch a flight to his next game location.

Also, there have been instances where women will try to poke holes through the guys condom, lie and say she has taken her birth control, or other extremes, just to get her pregnant, so that the dude will be stuck paying for child support and essentially make her life a hell of a lot easier. You may have self respect and not be that kind of girl, but when you're a high profile player, you're a target for many women to try to squeeze you out of easy money, and they know that.

If you do really like this guy, and say you felt some sort of connection with him, then I guess you could try and test the waters. But , only you can really tell if he's a douche or if he's for real, that's a judgment left up for you to make. If you want to reassure him that you're serious and not after him for his money, you could always slip into the conversation that you would not object to signing a prenuptial agreement in the event that things get serious

Pro Athletes often find it difficult to trust many of the women, especially because their salaries publicized and they tend to believe that the girl is only with them because of their money (unless of course she was a childhood friend or she was with him before he hit big).

That's difficult to answer. He can be entirely different depending on the situation ie. if he's around his family, friends, one on one. Whether or not he is for real or douche usually comes out when you speak with someone one on one.

People pay for play because it's a lot less mind games and work. Plus you pick exactly what you want, and rules are set.

Too easy to get accused of rape, escorts are better at what they're doing, etc.

Basically, more and more men are waking up to the fact that women are parasites and avoiding the trap. But maybe you'll find your goldmine hon, so good luck digging.
