MEN, How do you feel about women with fake nails?

I would like to know what comes to mind IF you don't like them...whats the first thing you think about that girl, if anything?

I like getting fake "tips" done where it's a french-looking manicure with plastic at the tip and lots of acrylic paste smoothed out, polished, and buffed. Those babies last for a long time and look good! It really does affect how you type though. xD So, it's a once-in-a-while treat.

i HATE them. They look so grotesque! it reminds me of kindergarten when I would get fake play dough nails with my friends. They are just ridiculous. Girls look like idiots trying to do stuff because they don't want the nails coming off. Fcking stupid...

Too painful and impractical.  I prefer to keep mine short, clean, and neatly trimmed with no paint or just a clear coat.  Maybe when I get older I'll do more but for now I just take care of them.

I'm not fond of fake nails at all. Not to mention that consistent wearing of them can discolor the natural nails underneath and predispose one to fungus. Some women wear them because their employment doesn't really allow them to grow their own nails either by activity or by dress code. This was pretty popular in health care settings at many of the hospitals I worked at.

From an attraction stand point, I'm just not fond of excessively long nails. I prefer shorter well manicured natural nails on women.

The first thing that comes to my mind when I see fake nails is that they're ugly and impractical; they're simply put a turn off for me. They give the impression of someone who can't do anything with their hands, like playing a musical instrument, cooking, doing sports... I'm not saying that they necessarily mean that, but it's the impression they give off to me: a useless, superficial person.

I know I'm being pretty harsh, but as a piano player I have a strong bias against fake nails and even long natural nails. Do what makes you feel good though; you can't please everyone but you can at least please yourself!

I'm attracted to women, not plastic. I'm not interested in fake anything - nails, eyelashes, breasts whatever.

Every woman is unique and beautiful in her own way and these things are really unnecessary.

I know some girls like to do these things and my first thought is that I just wish they were happier with who they are and how they look. We hear so much that a confident man is attractive but the same can be true for women too.

Please girls, just be who you are. That's fine with me.

I no your asking guys, but also some women wear fake nails because they have a nail biting problem. I had to do it one point to prevent myself from constantly chewing. But now I just polish them like every week.

It's my opinion that the reflection of one's self should be real and genuine. If you hide behind plastic, you're stating that what you are as a genuine person is not worth displaying. Nails are for women to show off to other women. Men of substantial worth don't care about such frivolous things.

the big ones are gross but I get liquid powder nails and there is no tip with it, it's only over my natural nail which I don't keep so long and usually a plain color. no one thinks my nails are tacky.
