Hands are a different color than my arms?

So I noticed, after I used this cream on my hands (it's a body cream, but I figured it would be fine to use it on my hands too, even though I later read on the packaging that you should wash your hands after use, which I didn't do because it wouldn't make sense lol to put it all over your hands and then wash your hands)., and in the beginning my hands were very soft and still had the same color as my arms, but now they are a little lighter o_O not alot, just a little, but it annoys me and it's been like this for a few months now... Does someone know why this is, and if they will ever go back to the same color as my arms? I don't use the cream anymore btw..

Seriously, the skin on your fingers and palm of your hands, as well as your toes and feet bottoms, have a different kind of color than the rest of the skin on you body. This also varies on the different parts of your body, like your lips - for example. NOW... without staring at people, you will notice that eveybody is different with regard to the level of difference between these same body parts and this skin color differentiation. It's kind of like your arms get tanned when they are in the sun, but your hands don't get tanned (or sun-burned).

They'll probably go back given time but quit worrying about it. I've never heard any guy mention "I don't think I'd date that girl, her hands don't match her arms!" ;) I think if you never mention it, nobody will ever notice.

what exactly was "this cream" called and I can give you more information.

Well ofcourse I'm not 100% sure its because of this cream, but it looks like it. The cream is called "almond milk concentrate" from Loccitane. It's a big jar :)
