Bf grabs my arm a lot.. is it OK to do?

Whenever me and my boyfriend fight I always try to walk away and he yells my name and grabs my arm and somtimes it leaves bruises. But he says its OK because he has a right to grab me if I'm trying to walk away during a fight... is it OK for him to do it? I agree trhat I run away from fights a lot but it hurts when he grabs me

Walking away from fights isn't a bad thing, its something people do to cool down so they don't flip out. Its actually fine that you walk away, oh that and he sounds like a psycho. If you guys are fighting all the time maybe that's a sign you are not right for each other.

It's definitely not okay if he's hurting you. You are allowed to walk away and he should let you. This behavior will most likely get worse over time and he could get really abusive.

It's never all right to leave bruises on someone. Nor is it all right to use force on you. If you want to walk away, you have the right, regardless of your motivation. This strikes me as a warning sign, both that he does it and that he justifies it as acceptable.
