What does it mean if a guy offers to teach me how a swim and invites me to try some food? Does he like me?

I met a guy who is five years younger than me. We worked in the same building ( the same office sometimes) for about half a month. We did not have a lot of conversations until we work together for an afternoon. He asked me a lot of questions. Because I'm an international student, he asked about whether my families live here, where I had my education, whether I will stay here after graduation. He shows a lot of interest in the my first language and wants me to teach him. He also said he wants to travel to the country where I come from but he need a guide. And then he talk about the weird food in my country he heard about. I told him where he can get it, and he invites me to try it with him. When we talk about exercises,he offers to teach me how to swim. He also compliments me that I look good with glasses. He even ask about my age. By the way, he asked me whether I have boyfriend. He said he is single and likes all kinds of girls( I don't know whether he said that because I'm Asian). Oh, he also asked my friend about me. He also teaches me a lot of English and encourage me. At the end of the day, he said his friends will go swimming on the weekend and invited me to come with him, but he did not ask for my phone number. Does it mean he likes me, or he just wants to become good friends with me because he is curious of my culture? Is it possible he likes me even I'm five years older than him although I look as young as him?

He also asked me to watch movies with his friends, and then asked for my phone number.He text me "nighty nite" before I went to bed. I know he is a friendly and cute person, but I'm not sure whether he is just be friendly to me or more than that?

We did not see each other for a few days. I text him but he didn't reply. I'm so confused now. Is it because I didn't agree to his invitation? Or he is such a flirt to each girl and he has a new aim now?

I used to be a swim instructor, so yeah, a guy ofering to teach you o swim is't just showing off his water skills I especially asked the Iranian women, since it was about the only way to get to talk to them one-on-one.

That way, you get to know what they look like wet and nearly naked, what could go wrong? Most dates wouldn't give you that chance!

And in that context, you can get away with asking older girls, since on the surface it's just a class! Even better! You can rarely ask a five years older girl on a 'date, but you can ask most anyone if they want to learn how to swim!

Just make sure he doesn't have ''yellow fever''. It seems like he's in a wanderlust about the culture of the country you're coming from (from the looks of it, I'd guess Japan), and thinks the next best thing besides living there is actually having a girlfriend from there...

I did not agree the date directly when he asked me in person because I think it is too fast. We did have lunch together during work, but I don't know whether it's a date or not. I'm still in a relationship but I'm not happy and wanna end it, and he knows it. So I'm really confused now.

I'm not so sure now. I spotted him chatting and laughing intimately with another office girl, and I just stood beside them. Maybe it is because they know each other longer than me? I don't know, but I just cannot join them to laugh.
