what would you feel?
Guys, whould you be mad if your girlfriend cut her long hair?
what would you feel?
Well, I'd say that's a true test of how deep your bond really is with your boyfriend.
If your connection and bond with a guy is that deep, then he is not going to get pissy over something as superficial as hair. Not only that, but it says something about a guy who depreciates short hair; makes him seem superficial and shallow despite many people unoriginally claiming it's just 'preference.' *sidenote: preference is becoming an excuse for people to remain ignorant or superficial without being called out*
I don't know about you ladies, but I don't want to be with a guy who's going to be mad or possibly view me as less attractive over hair! What the f*** is he going to do if I get Cancer one day and I lose ALL of my hair?! Women shouldn't settle for relationships like that, in my opinion. Kinda seems like you have to stay on your "physical P's&Q's" if you want to keep your man interested in you and that's not cool.
I just did this a couple weeks ago actually, except I cut my hair even shorter, now it only falls right below my ears / doesn't reach my chin... I wasn't sure how my boyfriend would react but he took it pretty well and told me he prefers shorter haircuts on me (and women in general)... so everything went better than expected!
I think guys should love their girlfriend no matter what, I know some guys love long hair but it's not right ether to make her feel like if she cuts her hair you won't love her any more, be happy with the decisions she wants to make with her life she will thank you for it.
Yes!
I have an agreement with my Girlfriend (and my past GFs): no more than an inch of hair is to be cut/trimmed without consulting me first. I make it crystal clear that I don't like short hair on a girl, and that I absolutely don't ever want to be "surprised" by a radical haircut.
I wouldn't get a tattoo, or a mohawk, or whatever, without talking to her first either.
haha, this seems funny to me for some reason :D
It would make you slightly less attractive in my eyes. Long, beautiful hair is a significant factor in physical attractiveness for many guys. It won't be a deal breaker to go from your length to your shoulders but going for the "pixie" cuts is not suggested.
what pixie cut?

Anyone who gets mad at their girlfriends / boyfriends for getting an hair cut is just being childish.
It's okay to be a little disappointed and say 'awwww nooo I liked you better with __ hair' but if someone gets mad at someone for a silly reason like that is just friggin nuts.
Indeed it's not right, but too many people these days care too much about looks it's sad, worse of all guys say and not want us girls to do things just for their benefit only even when it's not something the girl wants and they don't care whatsoever how it makes us feel, if a guy tried to tell me to keep my hair long and start moaning id feel completely crap in myself, id feel complete poo and id just not talk to him for a week making a point of how he makes me feel, guys needs to see this.
I've heard horror stories of guys losing all attraction to their girlfriends as soon as they laid eyes on her short hairdo. You can't know how a guy will react until you do it. Even if you ask him, he may end up thinking the complete opposite as soon as you get it done.
i have a hair extensions...maybe I should use them, he didn't see me with short hair yet. but I guess he wouldn't be glad
I came home one day to my ex girlfriend wearing a ski cap, so I'm like what's with that? And she started crying and took it off, to show she had nearly shaved her head completely because she messed her hair cut up. I saw she was really bothered and embarassed so I went and shaved mine too, to make her feel better. Its just hair, it grows back lol.
I've asked my boyfriend that before, and he said to never cut my hair short. You can always put your hair in pins, to make it look short, and ask him what he thinks, and then make a decision? My hair is 2'4" long, and I put it up in pins, and showed my boyfriend, he said I'm pretty, but he didn't like it.
If I really liked her hair long and the new style wasn't as nice, of course I'd be upset on a personal level. But mad? Absolutely not. There's a difference between missing something I like and acting like she should be consulting me before making decisions about her own body.
Nah I'll just secretly put hair supplements into her drink when she isn't noticing, and then find every opportunity to stroke her hair and encourage the hair follicles to grow faster.
She is free to do what she wants to do with her hair. :)
Bad idea, what if she starts growing a mustache?
I'd be surprised if she did it without at least telling me she was thinking about it first. That's a pretty drastic change to undertake on a whim.
But it's only hair. I'm in love with her, not her locks.
my boyfriend told me he does not want me to cut my hair but that if I did get it cut to not make it any shorter than shoulder length. I don't know sometimes I just want to cut it short for a change plus it would be easier to groom than long hair (especially in the mornings when it's all tangled up) but I guess that's what guys like, especially my boyfriend :o)
It would most likely make you less sexually desirable. It's not like the relationship would hedge on something like that, but if you start getting less attention don't complain...
She should do what makes her happy, first and foremost.
As long as she isn't getting all butch on me I don't see a problem.
lol, so buzz cuts and mohawks are out of the question, right? =D
Lmao. That would be a potent dose of anti-viagra.
looks like the cure for viagra
I would be indifferent. If she was bald, that's another story.
Yes, if I liked her hair and she have a haircut I would feel sad about it. She wouldn't be the same person for me...
Basically it's up to my wife, but I would surely be very disappointed.
depends on the girl. Some can pull off short hair really well.
It's your hair
Do what you want
Don't be so concerned about someone else
i know, but I asked how would guys feel about it
Aw. Kinda sad to see that so many guys would be upset, when it's just hair...
Been there, lived that. Guess what? It's still the same girl.
5 stars Q!I didn't know our hair means that much to guys.Amazing!
Yeah, I like long hair on girls so if she cut it shorter then I'd be a bit upset.
my boyfriend wouldn't care about it its my hair after all
