Why does my boss act hot and cold with me recently?

he used to like me, praise me and always nice to me. now all of a sudden, he acts like he's mean and insult me or avoid me or ignore me. he asks me what have I done all day and where have I been all day when I am always at my desk doing my job and waiting for him to finish the work we need to submit to head office. but meanwhile he is busy chatting with other people in the other departments. he promised me a raise 2 years ago but lately he has been telling me to stop chatting with some new people because they can't be trusted and if I like my job, I should keep to myself or else he will have to fire me after 8 years.

You should try to find another job. He sounds like he's being a little childish. Are you sure you did nothing wrong? Are you always doing your job? Or are there times where you get caught up talking to other people?

i know I did not do anything wrong. I always do my job and always on top of things. he used to trust me everything and brag me to VIPS. all of a sudden he changes? well he did try to give me an indecent proposal and I declined him. and he does see me talking to new people at work but that is not illegal isn't it?
