Eight years ago, in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election, J. D. Vance was a bitter critic of Donald Trump. Publicly, he called the Republican presidential candidate an "idiot" and said he was "reprehensible." Privately, he compared him to Adolf Hitler.

But by the time the former president tapped Vance to be his running mate on Monday, the Ohio native had become one of Trump's most ardent defenders, standing by his side even when other high-profile Republicans declined to do so.

Going to be 30 soon & ask myself why I’m incapable of being in a relationship with a man, people can say that I’m picky but I don’t fully believe I should take all the blame. Female friends I’ve had in the past seem to get dates easier/are okay with putting out & some have unintentionally made me second guess my looks, as they seem to have it easier yet other people have told me I’m equally/more attractive than they are. The last time I “dated” someone was when I was in my early twenties & I’m glad that ended because this guy felt like settling. It justifies that love isn’t blind & it’s better to be alone vs being in a mediocre relationship. I know I’m not all that but I feel like I should be able to attract quality men, all my life I feel like I’ve been invisible to men. I’ve never been approached in person by a guy I’d like to date (don’t count dating apps) & the very few times someone told me that a guy found me attractive (normally a guy I also thought was attractive), they never told me directly & it was always word of mouth.

I feel like I am cursed, that last person I saw in my early twenties was through a dating app & that’s how I’ve met all of these men I’ve met up with. The apps are continually getting worse & they’ve always had a bad rep, getting matches are never an issue it just fails to go anywhere for a number of reasons. And sometimes when I’ve met guys in person & it didn’t work out, there’s just something about them that doesn’t live up to my expectations (even though they look like their pics). I’m unsure if my dating logic is unrealistic, dating apps are the only way for me to meet people & don’t understand how I can be this old & haven’t been in love yet.

The last thing I’ll add is my lack of sex drive, masturbation doesn’t do anything for me & I haven’t had sex since I saw that person back in my early twenties. However, it’s known that some women need to be in a healthy relationship in order to have that *sexual desire*.

After chatting to a friend its got me wondering if im too friendly with my boss (he's 37m im 32f and we are both married with kids)

Basically, she saw me laughing at one of his messags and saw we share lots of inside jokes, memes, emojies etc and it got me wondering if thats normal.

We rarely talk about things other than work and we know eachother really well and i supose it can be seen as flirty on the outside (?) At one point he was messaging me on the weekend but must have thiught better of it as that stopped over a year ago.

What do you think? Its that a normal boss employee relationship?

I can think of one example in my life and one example in a friend's life where a guy was interested in her and also another time where a guy was interested in me, when I resisted they pursued but when I pursued, they resisted. I did not date the guy cause he was turned off by the fact I initiated contact but when I avoided him he would sacrifice other events to chase after me, but this was years and years ago.

My cousin says the same thing to her friends that if you want a guy to like you, you should ignore him. I don't know if she still gives advice cause she is at the age where a lot of her friends have settled down and are no longer on dating sites.

Would you respect your parent still if they tried to ruin every relationship you have or try to build and put themselves in between to actually steal and date your (now ex) significant other? Could you actually keep affection towards your parent or would it be a done deal, with you never trusting or keeping close to them again!
