In other words. We don't change our clocks back anymore or we do?

I'm half and half on the matter. I like darker evenings. I hate driving at night. And I get off sometimes at 6 which means I would be driving in the dark in the winter.

Traveling has always been one of those super interesting and debated topics when we talk about personal growth, lifestyle, and how we see the world. Taking off to discover new places is pretty much the highlight of the year for so many of us, a chance to unplug from the daily grind, recharge, and at the same time challenge ourselves by dealing with entirely different cultures, foreign languages, and random logistical disasters, but how the actual trip feels changes completely based on one massive, choice: deciding to go solo or with someone else.

On one hand, solo travel gets hyped up as the ultimate freedom and independence, choosing to explore a european art city, backpacking through southeast asia, or doing a solo road trip means you call every single shot on your itinerary without having to compromise. You can wake up at sunrise to hit a museum, or just spend the whole afternoon sitting in some random cafè with zero pressure to match anybody else's schedule. It forces you out of your comfort zone, builds up your problem-solving skills, and makes it easier to talk to locals or other travelers.

On the flip side, being alone can hit you with some intense loneliness, make handling emergencies way more stressful, and leave you with no one to share things. Traveling with people brings totally different vibes, centered around sharing the experience and splitting practical tasks, having a trusted travel buddy lets you cut costs in half on things like hotel rooms, makes you feel way safer, and gives you unforgettable inside jokes and memories you can actually talk about later with someone who was right there with you.

That said, traveling with others takes a ton of patience and compromise, so many friendships get super tested because people disagree on daily schedules, where to eat, etc.
