It's a big decisive election for the Americas, a lot of right wing dictators or authoritarian "far-right' presidents are being propped up lately, with a lot of funding and help by Trump allies and tech ceos for their benefit. I'm concerned about western values, democracy, and all that stuff being threatened by that so I want safe EU & West allied candidates being in power in their countries. It helps strengthen the EU and Western democracies.
Lula also isn't afraid to oppose Trump. He's a chill dude too, I like him

I'm pretty sure Bolsonaro (the dad) was involved deep in corruption including with drug cartels and tried a coup, and that's why he was put in jail.
