10 reasons to say 'I love you' to your loved ones

I decided to write this, after the terrible attacks that happened in Paris two weeks ago. Some of my loved ones were there, and while I was trying to reach them, I thought about something. I've never told them that I love them. So please, don't wait for a bad thing to happen, just say it!

WARNING: HIGHLY CHEESY CONTENT

1 - Because love is stronger than hate

The best shield against hate, is love of course. It allows us to bond with each other and gives the necessary forces when we're weak.

2 - Because life is short

These three little words only take a few seconds to be said. It would be a shame to restrain yourself from doing it, or to think that it can wait. You never know what tomorrow will bring (or take), so don't wait!

3 - Because you really love them

You love them ? In this case, let them know. Prove it to them with all kinds of attention, so they can be sure that you really mean it.

4 - It feels good to say it

Saying I love you to your family and friends, feels good. And unless proven otherwise, there is no shame in feeling good.

5 - To hear it back

There is a great chance that your surge of love will help your loved ones to open up and to share their mutual feelings. And it's amazing how it will warm your heart!

6 - Because you never say it enough

We never give or receive too much love. It's not because you've already made it clear yesterday that you don't have to do it today.

7 - To end a fight

What's the magic formula to end a fight? It's 'I love you', of course! The other person will struggle to outbid negatively.

8 - To comfort each other

Cherishing others and feeling loved will bring a little sunshine to your day. It would be wrong to deny yourself this gift, especially during difficult times.

9 - Because love is the most precious thing in the world

Whether it's toward friends, family or a partner, there's isn't a more delicious flavor in the world than love. Icing on the cake: it's free!

10 - Because it is contagious

Shout it out loud and clear, without limiting it to your loved ones; so you can spread it to the maximum. I'll be the first one to do it: I LOVE YOU GUYS!

I was never really close with my sister but in the recent years, we've grown closer and it makes me so incredibly happy because she's my sister, my blood and my family. I tell her I love her because I couldn't imagine being without her. I tell her I love her because she's a part of me. I tell her I love her because she's my sister and that's one of the most powerful bonds to exist.
I tell my brother I love him every night because he's my brother. I tell my mom I love her because she's my mom. I tell my dad I love him because he's my dad. I tell my grandmother, my grandma, my uncle, cousins and aunts that I love them because they're my family.

Family. Family by blood or friendship. You don't need any special reasons to say that you love them. You just love them and want them to never forget that.

I like this take... as a society we tend to dwell on the dark things, that is what comprises the news these days, shootings, death, people ripping other people off, just negativity all around!

The world can use a little love... so remember to say it to those people important in your life. The worse thing is to just assume they know...

I tell my family and friends I love them too much my dad says. He says I've cheapened the phrase, but I always mean it when I say it, I don't see how that's cheapening. I say it every time they leave, when I give them something or they give me something, or just randomly. We could be watching TV and I just say it out of nowhere. I hope your family is okay.

I was raised in a household where we didn't really show or share our emotions or thoughts, including saying I love you. As a teenager now, I have trouble saying those words to anyone, even when I want to say so more than ever. Saying you love someone is an important thing, and you should definitely try to say it to your children, siblings, or younger family members as well in order to help them develop decently
