When to say I love you.

Saying I love you too early in a relationship can scare away the person you're with. So follow this rule of thumb for I love you.

The House Method.

Building a relationship is like building a house. You start with a basic foundation. It may not be the most amazing or flashy part of the house, but it's by far the most important part of starting one. A good foundation is respect, similar interests, and attraction in that order. Next is the walls. Something to protect you from others coming in and stepping all over your relationship, or just getting too cold from the winds of being apart. Walls are built with affection, action, and love. In that order. Build affection and familiarity with your partner, take action and prove your affection and love with action. Lastly and most importantly say I love you to them. But make sure you say it during a very beautiful and intimate moment between you two. Like right before and after you spend a night together. Or dancing in the rain. Something special for special words. But remember, affection and implication first, then action, prove that love before you even say it. Let them think, "wow this person treats me with such love, they must love me right?" Then confirm their suspension and say, I love you. Now The House Method as you see is not just a foundation or walls, it is also a roof. I'll teach you the complete method later. But as for now, remember to show the proof of love before the words of love. Bye!
