Soulmates: Are there some people who are meant to be? Here's my story!

A couple months ago I met this amazing girl named (y). I saw her 3 times before we actually had a conversation. We then began hanging out with each other from then on. Turns out we knew a lot of the same people but we never crossed paths till that day. FFWD 3 weeks I had decided to stop talking to her for a while becuse of my insecurities. It bugged me here and there but then her presence became more intrusive in my life.

Sometimes when I would drive back from work I would see her walking like she does. When I would see her a sharp pain would shoot though my heart. I would partially lose control of my car when i would see her.

Her name began to visually pop up randomly. Specifically her name popped up when I searched my name up in on urbandictionary in of the definitions.

But the biggest thing was the dream about meeting her again which actually came true. The same place, and her friend was there as well just like in my dream.

An unknown variable came into play which gave me an excuse to talk to her again.

We've been hanging out ever since then, and through that time I broke my rule and opened up to her about things I would never tell anyone including family. I feel that something drew me back to her and I plan on seeing why she was brought back into my life. We're only friends, but who knows. She is important to me regardless if were friends or more.

This is like the sweetest story I have heard in a long time. It gives you hope in humanity again! I hope it works out for the two of you. Just remember that soulsmates are not people who we are perfectly compatible with, or who never have arguments. Soulsmates are people who see you for who you truly are (but love you anyway). They challenge you, and encourage you, and even bring your flaws to light. Through the light that they shine on your positive qualities you are able to discover hidden talents and personal characteristics that you didn't know you had. You can grow into the best version of yourself. However, being with your soulmate can be frustrating and even painful as they do bring to light these flaws. ( as they can see you like no other) it's hard to get away with things like laziness and can could arguments. The key is to focus on the big picture- the love you have for each other. Everything else is secondary!
