There is an age old saying that men are the gatekeeper's of commitment, while women are the gatekeeper's of sex. Women use sex to get commitment from men and men show they have resources/high status to lure women into wanting them to commit to them.

Now when a man cheats, he essentially telling a woman the sex she offers him is not good enough which stings a woman's ego and causes her to flip out and want to break up with him. Society and both sexes deem this behavoir a no go.

However, our society often seem acceptable of women already pining/looking for their next boyfriend probably weeks/months before she eventually breaks up with the man in the relationship she is currently with.

In most cases when a girl is showing emotional detachment to you and then eventually breaks up to you. Only for her to find another man to replace you within a couple days/week.

It's because the woman was already placing their sights on said guy, talking to them/hanging out with them/In extreme cases sleeping with them behind your back or have already known them.

They've been thinking about wanting to get commitment from them/be with them.

So while your offering your love and commitment to a woman as a man, she is essentially doing the female version of cheating by trying to precur commitment from another man while she is with you.

She won't leave you unless she is 100% sure that the other guy will offer her relationship/commitment and not be a booty call.

Good shit right there, and this is why amongst many reasons I no longer do relationships/marriage, only casual sex. I haven't bothered to read down but I know there are tuns of women who would disagree. I have both experienced this as being the potential backup guy before I figured out what was going on and the guy she was looking for a back up on and have seen it many, many times with other guy friends. I'm sure there are some good honest women out there, but many are unfaithful, manipulating harlots and it's no longer worth my time to find one worth keeping. I would agree that physical cheating and lining up a new partner are equally sh*tty things to do. I would not agree that physical and emotional cheating are equally 'bad' as I do not believe in emotional cheating for gals. For me cheating implies giving someone else who is not your partner something you are suited to give your partner ala you are cheating your partner of something.

In my observations guys seem quite annoyed by gals emotions and desire for non physical intimacy ala calling it jumping through hoops, nagging, yapping, bitching. I find most guys have no issue if there gal seeks emotional intimacy/comfort from her gal pals seemingly seeing it as a burden/hassle they don't have to deal with anyone. It appears to me guys only care about gals being emotional with other guys because the sex may stop if she leaves him for the other guy. It's not as if to me guys actually desire the emotional attachment/intimacy they just don't want to risk losing the sex if she attaches to another guy. I imagine most guys would have no issue with their wives/gfs being emotionally attached to a 'friendzoned' male or gay male ad it would mean less nuisance for him and no chance of her f*cking the other guy.

Look at my recent relationship I had with a guy, it was "breaking" but instead of fixing it together with me he decided to start something with someone else. Even before I actually broke up he had a back up girl that suddenly shows up around his arm a week later and now they are together. This to me was a sure sign that I should break up with him and so I did. If it wasn't for the girl I probably would've tried working it out. I can't speak for all girls but I would never do this, my heart wouldn't be able to do something like that and I wouldn't want to hurt him either. I wait months before I do start something with someone else.
