Yeah, but the downside is failing classes, gaining weight, etc. from depression and such.
i believe a person should find love within themselves before they can truly love someone else. that way, all those downsides can be avoided.
I love myself a lot, but that all changes whenever I try liking a chick. It just doesn't seem worth it.

I guess my fear is that I won't since I'm shy. The whole idea of dating makes me nervous.
u know, i think that if u don't have the least bit of nerves in you, then dating doesn't mean much to u to begin with. the nerves are healthy. u just need to take hold of them and allow yourself to be honest and open with someone u think is worth it =]
So being nervous is okay, and I just have to have enough courage to let her know she's worth it.
that's it! it's so simple! our mindsets just overcomplicate it.
I guess then for me the issue will be working up the courage. I have not asked girls out due to feeling too nervous
maybe so, and it's totally understandable. i think that when u can tell yourself "okay i need to put my fear aside and just give it a go", I'm 100% sure you'll feel SO good about yourself, even if she says no. i say that because you'd feel like u finally went out of your comfort zone, and you're ready to accept whatever u face. confidence =]
