i love the part about finding someone who will complement (as opposed to ”complete”) you. this is exactly how i feel about relationships.

No relationship is 50/50
Its 50/50 because if you give 100% you loose track of who you are. Everyone has had relationships where they give it all and they become like their partner and change their interests because he/she likes them. But you won't loose track of who you are if you only give 50% and the other 50% you make it about you. It makes it way better and its a good balance.
