I wouldn't do it. Out of respect to my friends' right to privacy. I would stop texting any friend about anything serious if I knew something that was only meant for her eyes could be read by her boyfriend and shared by him to anyone he knows.

It's not about trust, we guys just don't like to share private things like conversations with my male friends.. i feel weird if someone other than me gets to read it.. it just doesn't feel right..

I did that with an ex. He completely misunderstood everything. It was a nightmare. He'd break up with me if a guy hit on me and I defended him. Won't do it again.
