@Dbdkfofnf to be fair yes. But men don’t usually don’t date and line up another women out of fear of being lonely after the break up. Many women will swing from guys like a monkey swings from trees.

They don't want to be the "bad guy" who ends the relationship for seemingly no reason at all so they go on the passive aggressive by simply distancing themselves from their boyfriend in hopes that he gets fed up and either:

A) Breaks up with her so she doesn't have to be the one to do it

B) Does something stupid or what could be considered a "dump-able offense" (i. e. lashes out at her, gets needy/insecure, gets controlling, cheats on her, starts playing games himself, etc).

C) She can otherwise invent a valid "excuse" to break up with him from something trivial

In any of the three scenarios she can say he's the asshole and the breakup was his fault, and if she was the one to pull the trigger she can justify it if anyone asks her why.
