Thats not the premise of the contract. Men approach women with all the cash, housing, dates, etc. as a way to say they dont need to be on the street. Just because men dont want their girl on the street doesn't mean its wrong for them to be nonmonogamous. But the whole point of investment from a man is to secure the woman to himself. If women want that from men then they need to start doing some serious investing. Like solving some real problems for the guy.

And I understand what you mean, women in general do put effort.
But women put effort unto men with way too many options and no will to be monogamous, frequently several of those men at the same time showing their own lack of willingness to be monogamous.

But the contract usually is that they are supposed to be monogamous.

And in my experience, even when you are honest with women about the lack of monogamy from the contract, they still expect it, demand it and break it.
Not all, by the way.

Which is why I had the rule that if multiple women were pursuing me, the less jealous and the one that played the nicest got the deal. Or the more forward one, when that wasn't an issue.

My fame was exactly identical to the dishonest womanizer. (but to be honest, I got the fame of "player"/"fuckboy"/"slut" way before I began my sex life.)

But to be honest, it was always a pleasure to reject a woman who was both possessive and maligned the competition.
