There are many valuable reasons on being friends before lovers. This is just something I learned in my first relationship that was about 9 months ago. The best love relationships are sometimes the ones based on a prior friendship. It gives your relationship a definite advantage.

It takes time to turn a friendship into something even more romantic such as a relationship. You know many things about each other such, such as there likes and dislikes. Since you two know each other very well it is easy for you to have heart to heart chats. Friends are who we turn to when we need to talk about something, whatever it may be. When you are friends before lovers you two have a two-in-one gift. You can turn to your partner to share your heart.
