For a while I felt it was unfair and I got bitter, angry, and resentful about gender roles, but now I regret ever feeling that way because that only just wasted time, should have been drilled into my brain, mindset that life is not fair, dating included
Nothing is fair. True. But I guess instead of worrying about gender roles, we should focus on conveying our love towards loved ones. For as long as love is priority for both guys and girls, things would run smoothly.
And it makes me mad that if I ever do fix my issues with women, I'm not sure if I will ever be able to heal the wounds, scars, mental and emotional pain on what I missed out on earlier
Never try to fix the pains of the past. They make you strong. Always learn the good things and leave the bad things behind.

It should be at the right moment. There's no "guys should make the first move" thing. All I'm saying is the bravest should usually be the one to make the first move and if that's you, then do it.
I am a girl in a leading liberal high school. I made the first move and said I liked him. He started running with his tail in between his legs and ears down.

Well, yes, I would want him. He's a nice guy, smart, and is kind and humble. If he liked me, that'd be even better. In fact, I liked him because I though he liked me. (I was wrong, surprisingly) by the way he's super nerdy and a total 'nice guy' but genuinely. Nerdy body, advanced math class, the full package.
If I really liked a woman, I mean, really liked her and I never made a move and she died the next day, ... I'd quickly conclude, it was obviously poor timing. 😂😂
A girl that approaches me first wins the prize and has my utmost respect, it tells me that she's not a scared little lamb and can get what she wants.
