He Wants to Be with Only You! So Relax and Let Him Look!

So I recently asked a question:

Do you think that, even if your man looks at other women, that he still wants you and only you?

I based on a video I found below that described my situation to a T.

I had gone on a vacation - all inclusive 7 days to Antigua, a beautiful Carbiiean island where we could relax, really spend time one on on without the distractions of the world and connect, sexually,emotionally psychologically. I thought that's what my woman would want - undivided attention and time with me. Boy was I wrong! It wasn't about me at all,it was all about her. And as the vacation went on, we did everything together, - non-stop 24 hours a day together. And there is only so many conversations I can have about stuff taht interesting to her without doxingoff or drifting a bit. I think guys we all know that's natural.

I was on the beach listening to her talking about 'gel nails' which I have no clue what that might mean and an attractive woman walked by. Honestly, I didn't even notice her face, she just had a great figure and all I saw was skin. So I looked! God forbid. As soon as she was out of hearing range (which my girlfriend waited for) i got yelled at and attacked for looking at the woman!

I didn't undress her with my eyes as accused - she was already MORE than half naked. What amI supposed to do - pretend I don't see the person walking by me? I honestly couldn't tell you right now what colour her bathing suit was or hair. I don't really care. It was a female form, my body responded to it naturally. To me, that figure doesn't exist in reality - she was there for a split second and is gone - BUT my girlfriend spent the rest of the vacation reminding me of how peverted or disrespectful I was, making me WISH I had gotten up and got that chick's number!

The poll I took, had a resounding 70% which agreed with the video that men are just looking, not looking for more!

Some interesting comments that proved my point, one woman said:

My man knows better, God forbid he looks at another woman while I'm around, cause all hell will break loose, and when that happens, not even the devil himself will wanna mess with me!

More level headed women said:

I used to catch my husband doing this. I told him that it's only natural to notice other women but gawking was rude and I find that disrespectful. Have some class and don't gawk. Otherwise it's not a problem.

Glancing at other women is ok. Gawking is not. The only guys I saw gawking at other women at their girlfriends presence turned out to be cheaters.

If more women would just relax and maybe enjoy the view themselves - probably a lot of beach vacations would go a lot better. I know mine would've.

I'm actually so tired of reading these articles and responses from men trying to convince women that they don't really want to sleep with the hot woman they're looking at or how it's just innocent looking etc. That could honestly all be completely true but you have to understand that it doesn't matter to us because we don't think like you do.

The bottom line is it will always, every single time, hurt our feelings, no amount of articles, explanations, scientific studies will change that because we don't look at things the way you do.

We love our boyfriends and we want to be the hottest woman on the planet to the guy we're sleeping with and we don't want to ever feel like you're looking some where else because it makes us think you're not happy with us. It's just how women are, i'm not saying it's right/wrong or that men are right/wrong for looking, i'm saying no amount of explanations are going to make it better for us lol

I guess it's sort of different when you point it out or if your boyfriend goes out of his way to look on his own but the truth is even if he agrees with you, it still kind of hurts your feelings that he agrees.

I'm not saying some women can't be secure enough to do that and some may genuinely like looking at girls, I like looking at pretty girls too. I'm just saying most who do that are just trying to be the cool girlfriend or even test their boyfriend. A lot of women are people pleasers so instead of admitting they do that just to see if their boyfriend will agree or going "she's right that does make me insecure or hurt my feelings a little" instead they're going to go "it's ok if he keeps it at a minimum or it's ok if he admits it" when secretly it bothers them a little. I know i'm going to piss a lot of girls off with this lol but I don't like playing games and faking shit.

I don't blame men for looking.

I "let" my boyfriend look. He's a human being, not my own personal dog. He can do whatever he likes. At the end of the day, I don't have the nicest of bodies and if he wants to admire some eye candy go ahead. I do the same with men, but the difference is we have a laugh about it. We put on silly voices and we take the piss of "were you checking out that ladies ass? Is it because it's smaller than mine? *Fake crying* I knew the fact I can't fit through a doorway without greasing my ass with butter was unattractive and not a delicious snack..."

Half the time I join in and have a good stare and admire other women. I'm happy with my sexuality and most women compare themselves to other women (for instance if they are insecure about their tummies they will notice another woman's tummy first).

I agree with you, I don't anyone should tell anyone where they can look or how. I even say the same thing about men watching p*rn when women have an issue with it. He's his own person, you can't tell him where his eyes can go. My point was that it does hurt a lot of girls feelings regardless of the reasons and circumstances and that's just the way it is a lot of the time.

Yeah it does hurt a lot of girls feelings. But I think it's because I've come from an abusive relationship where I was very controlling feeling but I was controlled. My boyfriend has had a few bad relationships so we build on it.
p*rn doesn't bother me at all. Who cares, I mean they are never going to meet the girl in the video and half the time they wouldn't go near them because of what they do.
Some of it helps that I grew up with only brothers, but really, what's the worst that can happen? He cheats? Well, it proves he's an asshole and not worth your time. And that's coming from a girl who's been cheated on, I know how it feels. @GirlsLie

lol yes exactly how I feel about p*rn also. And at least you guys can be honest with each other and joke about it. I always think that too about women who worry so much about their boyfriends cheating, in the end it just proves he isn't worth it so why stress out about it before it even happens, it does nothing for your self esteem and you're supposed to spend your time happy in relationships.

I guess my point was that it does bother women and that it's ok that it bothers us and it's also ok for men to look a little, there's no right/wrong here but stop trying to shove it in our face that our man only wants us and not the other woman, some of us already know this but it doesn't make it any better, it's an almost impossible emotion to control lol It also gets very repetitive and it's annoyingly dismissive to a woman's feelings in my opinion.

I don't blame men for looking. Anyone almost naked or having something in your face type thing. It's hard to not look. If a chicks boobs are just BAM right there. I will even look because it's just so in your face. If men had pants on that showed their dicks like women do their boobs. No way in hell everyone even men could try not looking. So with women on the beach. There are always going to be some hot women there and their bodies are just distracting. What are you just going to tell all women to cover up so men won't look? Also if my bf looked at another chicks body at a beach. I wouldn't be bothered by it. Since I trust him 100% and I know I would probably look as well, lol. I know he doesn't care about other women.

The only time I was sensitive about my man looking at another woman is when I was pregnant and in that case, I only asked him to refrain from doing it around me. I notice when he's checking out a girl and give him a look, then says that she had a nice pair of cans and all is well.

I'm attracted to women and men and my opinion is that my boyfriend's looking at women should be no more noticeable than mine. It's natural and totally okay to see someone and think 'hey, they're gorgeous!' but if you're gawking at someone or not being discrete then you're just making things uncomfortable for everyone.
