To make this short and sweet, I'm a homesick newlywed. I'm also embarrassed to admit it.
I've never lived with anyone else but my family. I delayed moving out due to college and working, plus I didn't want to live alone or try the roommate thing. (I'd heard many horror stories.) So I waited until getting married.
I absolutely adore my husband. He understands and even suggests things to help. For the majority of the time, I'm okay at controlling it. However, it's when I'm by myself that it hits me.
Any tips on easing homesickness in this transitional time? How long does it take to get over it?
