Getting past the oppressive boyfriend?

Sooo there's a chick i met through a friend, she seems pretty awesome, we get along and have fun playing together, unfortunately her boyfriend (who she lives with) tells her she can't voice chat when she games and/or talk to other people, (not all the time but most of it) and she listens, they were apparently fighting this past Saturday and so i invited her to hang out with me and my friends (including the friend that introduced us) she showed up already drunk, and she was beautiful i was kinda start struck lol, she talked and talked and we all learned a lot about her, she seemed really genuine and she said she loves her boyfriend but also talked about how oppressive he is, part of me wants to liberate her but id be fine just being friends, and nothing more, problem is is i dont want to seem desperate or get her into trouble, soo what can i really do? is it fine trying to talk to her whenever i see her on a game (especially one that she tried to get me into) or is am i crossing lines?

Gee I wonder why the boyfriend doesn't want her talking with other nice people who would never try to make a move on his girl. What a jerk he is. He should just liberate her to the curb so you can have her as a girlfriend and she can then go over other guys houses and call you a jerk for not liking it.

I get your point lol, but i have 2 arguments against it, why be in a relationship with someone you dont trust, and if he's doing his job as a boyfriend than shouldn't he have nothing to worry about?
