Why did this guy not tell me straight up that he's engaged?

The other day when we were texting he didn't tell me he was getting married, all he said was 'I'm kind of seeing someone but I still like you' and I told him there's no point in us talking, then he says ''there is, we get on and you know I think you're beautiful ''

lol, "I'm kind of seeing someone " is not an appropriate response for someone that is engaged. If they have an open relationship, sure, but if that is not the case then that is bad, bad, bad news. Ask him how his soon-to-be wife would feel about that news, you will quickly figure out how up front he is being.

If he is able to lie to someone he is about to marry, he surely is going to be able to lie to you without thinking twice.

Bad news!!! First if he is engaged, where does that leave you? Second, if he is the kind of guy that will pursue other women when he is engaged to be married, is that the kind of guy you would want to be with even if he decided to break it off with the other girl? If he does it to one person, he would do it to another. That doesn't show a very good sense of loyalty or commitment. My opinion is to steer clear of him.
