My friends with benefits (FWB) stopped using protection when I told him I started dating another guy?

I told my friends with benefits (on-going booty call) I started seeing someone else (never got intimate with that guy). It ended within a couple months because I have fallen for my friends with benefits (my friends with benefits has no idea) .. sigh... It is so hard for me to develop feelings for someone else. He was pretty disappointed that I was dating that other guy but we continued sleeping together. Suddenly, my friends with benefits stopped using condoms. We are exclusive - not seeing anyone else but it's just weird that he stopped using protection once he realized I can get involved with someone else. He also acts as though he feels nothing for me. Need some answers.

If you are his friends with benefits and you are seeing someone else he fears losing those benefits. If he gets you pregnant in his mind you are stuck. I recently just stopped seeing my friends with benefits of 4 years because he now has a girlfriend and he told me he likes me as a friend. If he acts as though he feels nothing for you believe me he doesn't. A persons actions will tell you everything you need to know. Believe me I am in a similar situation. I'm dealing with hurt feelings now and he didn't feel anything for me, cared nothing about my feelings whatsoever and he could care less about how I feel. He made sure to let other guys who were interested in me know we were seeing each other, in the end he is with someone else taking trips and acting like i'm wrong for feeling the way I do. Just protect yourself require that he uses condoms. FWB's are just not worth it in the end someone always catches feelings mainly women, and we end up getting hurt.
