My bf is touchy feely, I'm not?

Ok so my boyfriend tells me all the time how he feels, I however feel the same but can't seem to open up. I've given my heart and trust to the wrong person in the past. I tell him I love him but I don't go deeper than that. I need advice?

You have to forgive the person in your past and move on or you will have a hard time securing a GOOD relationship. If you truly feel this current one is a good man and has your best interest at heart, stop looking behind your shoulder for a bad guy. I’ve been there many times. You have to move onward and upward and let someone care for you – and you care in return. It is a two-way street and if you continue this behavior, he will leave and you will attract another bad guy. Don’t cut yourself short, young lady. Let your love light shine.

I understand being scared to open up to someone again after being hurt in the past. You're basically allowing someone to hurt you and to break your heart. But you just gotta do it because it's not fair to him or to you when you don't. He's hurt because you can't give him what he wants even though you feel it and it hurts you because you're not allowing yourelf to fall completely in love. You just have to force yourself though it's hard :(

Depends on how long youve been together. He should understand that you've been hurt in the past, i'm sure he's been through the same though too. Almost everyone has been hurt. Anyway, if you've been together for quite some time, you should eventually try to make the breakthrough. Not letting him know how you feel fully will cause him to eventually become insecure and second guess the relationship.

I would tell him just that, I am sure he has been hurt so if he knows you are being honest and cares about you, he will give you time to feel more settled. The big thing here is communication, that way he will know what's going on.
