Persistancy or distance (after rejection)?

I was recently rejected by a girl that I really like, we are really good friends. I still like her. Is it better to distance myself from her for a while so that she "misses me". so they say that you don't really appreciate something until it isn't there.

Im not a believer in persistency because that is easily related to annoyance. To girls who changed their opinion, why did you change? how? To guys who changed a girl's opinion, how did you do it?

Look don't play games with her because that's going to get you nowhere.

You need to be honest with yourself here. Can you be friends with this girl when you want more than friendship? I don't think you can and I know I certainly cannot, so rather than wasting my time pretending to be her friend and then getting my panties in a bunch when she gets with other guys and then proceed to log on to GAG and complain about the friend zone, I would keep my distance.

If she was to say "Hey, Owl, why you no my friend no more?", I'd explain that I cannot be friends with someone who I have deeper feelings for than friendship.

Also you cannot change someone's opinion, attraction and interests just doesn't really work like that and if a girl changes her opinion she does so through her own accord.
