Is my girlfriend demanding too much attention or am I not giving enough?

Quick background. I've been with my girlfriend for almost a year now. We're both 22 years old and we see each other almost everyday. We don't text or talk on the phone much since we end up talking in person anyways.

So I got invited to one of my best friends party and was told I should invite her because they haven't met her yet. So I bring my gf along and I introduce her to my friends. So she wasn't drinking because she was driving. So I told her I'm going to get some drinks with my friends and she said okay. I keep checking on her and tell her to come play drinking games or to come with me but she keeps telling me she's okay. once the night is over she tells me I completely ignored her and left her looking at the clock until we went home. she's mad at me now.

So similar thing happened a while back with her friends. We went to a bar and before we left I was talking to her best friend. She was calling me to ask me something (I couldn't hear her though) and says I was ignoring her. I get the feeling she wants my attention all the time. What's my situation? What should I do?

If she's uncomfortable in social situations, then going out with your friends might be hard for her. Trying to help her get to know a few people before the drinking games might help (maybe you did). However, this happened when you were out with her friends too? Danger Wil Robbison! (sorry, too old a reference?). That reminds me of my ex - insecure (and angry), and she never got over it. I wouldn't wish that situation on anyone.

She may have felt uncomfortable at the party and probably wanted to leave. She was doing the double talk. She said she was okay but she wasn't really okay.

She seems clingy, at least she loves you and wants you by her side lol. Not that you're married, but remember, happy wife, happy life.

She probably felt a little awkward at the party. She wants to be with you, but I think she wanted you to be hanging with her more than your friends.
