Who cares more about age differences, women or men?

I don't know if it's me, but I think women care more about their patner's age.
For me , age plays an important role. I couldn't be in a relationship with someone who's more than 5 years older than me.

So, who do you think it's more picky? And why?

Women are pickier but generally men prefer younger women and women prefer older men. I don't really see why a few years makes such a big difference but whatever.

Well, it makes to me. Age can make the difference sometimes.

I've dated 4 years older and I almost dated a woman who was a few years younger than me and it honestly made no difference whatsoever. Maturity is what matters and I know plenty of men who are older than me yet significantly less mature. If someone isn't mature at 20 then they will most likely still not be mature at 24.

A few years makes almost no difference, if you want a big difference in maturity you're gonna have to go more than 5 years older.

You're right about maturity. But I have other concerns about age, besides maturity.

But I can say that one of my concerns has to do with sex.

Okay well fair enough, men who are older have more experience. But some food for thought, men peak sexually around age 20. Women peak sexually in their 30's. In other words, mens libidos and ability to function sexually is already well into its decline when womens libidos are at their maximum. I'm sure you can see why that would be a problem.

I never thought about this, but it makes sense. And yes, it would be a problem.

in my opinion, dating younger is typically the smarter decision for either gender, but especially for women. Younger people are less skilled sexually but it will take longer before the possibility of sexual disfunction or health problems set in and they will remain conventionally attractive longer. You can think of it as an investment in your future happiness. But it's really up to you, I don't really have any stake in your decision obviously.

I think women care more, I've been hit on by men 2-3x my own age and it makes me uncomfortable. I don't want to be with someone old enough to be my father.

Girls obviously about age, hieght, skin color, money etc. Guys have to do everything and even if we tried we will at some point get put down. Its more power to the women
