Girls, If girl sends text messages with lol in almost every text message to you, what does this mean?

Well, I text "lol" and "haha" all the time to anyone. Mostly, though, it's to people that are not familiar with my playful and sarcastic tone when I talk. When speaking in person, they understand the context of what I'm saying and know I'm just kidding around. I am not a very serious person (I can be when I have to be) and I joke around a lot. All of my friends are jokesters so we don't take much seriously. So, when someone isn't familiar with my jokester personality, I have to be careful with how I talk through text. I use "lol" and "haha" as a way to let them know I'm joking with them... I have to use it very often, haha.

Maybe she likes you, or maybe it's just her personality. You'll never know unless you ask.

Sounds like she is interested. But maybe she feels like she is in a desperate situation, and is trying to find the humour/ funny side in things. ( kinda like a coping mechanism) Could she be reaching out for help? Do you even like her, and do you think that you could offer her support or even more?

Yeah it's probably no big deal and I wouldn't give it much thought. I say lol in almost everything I type... But if anything she might just not know why to say or wants to make sure you don't read the text the wrong way. For example, I can text "shut up!" Or " shut up! LOL" both of these can be taken very differently.

I think she is trying to keep everything fairly light hearted and is trying to come accross as laid back. She might be adding 'lol' in there so much to cover her ass so she can claim she was joking if the boyfriend finds out.

I do that when I'm trying to sound happy cheerful, trying to keep convo going. Also if other relationship isn't going to last she's probably reaching out to you as a safety net for when her and her bad break up.

They are just trying to keep it light and/or they don't know how to respond. They might have smirked in real life or something, so put "lol" down anyways as their response.
