My Shy crush always runs away when he sees me?

So this guy i really like seems to always avoid me. After a month he tried talking to me but failed and just walked away. And after a week there was a bench infornt of the cafetiria so i was on my phone and i didn't saw him going inside the cafetiria so i was with my two friends next to me. So i was on the phone showing something at my guy friend and my other friend told me that my crush's friend was at the door looking at my guy friend and after that my crush was outside and she told me that his friend tild him that i was there so my crush looked at me and my guy friend laughing at the phone and he looked mad and run away from there. And today after school i was walking my way to the stairs when i saw my crush we made an eye contact and his eyes grew. So i walked away from their and my friend was behind me so she told me that after i walked away my crush's friend checked if i was still there. I feel really guilty! Did i do something wrong? And another thing my friend would always tell me that she alway caught my crush looking at me and after that smile like crazy. But he would always run away from me! Help does he hates me? Im sorry for my English

He is shy. He is insecure. He thinks he isn't good enough for you. You need to get him alone and just tell him the deal. Or.. write him a letter and sneak it to him when he's by himself. He may not know how to act if others are around. You have to get him in his comfort zone. It does seem like he does like you. If you don't break the ice, he may see the situation as futile.

Definitely not hating you. Just simply scared/afraid and does not know how to react around you. Thinks he will make a fool of himself and rather run away in those awkward ways. It happens.
If you really want this to somehow work, then prepare for a fight, because it will take your best shot...

You can simply start by saying "hi" to him. He will notice. He will definitely answer you and maybe he also picks up some courage to say something more to you.
