Does sexual attraction go away?

Say you're seeing a guy for a few months. You get along great, have a lot in common, and the sex is amazing. You decide to stop seeing each other romanatically ( stop having sex) becasue he moves for a job but decide to stay in touch. So you call each other and text all the time. You talk like you used to, just don't see each other.
What happens to the attraction? I'm still crazy about him and wonder how he feels about me. I don't want to ask becasue we decided to just be friends but for me nothing has changed. How do you guys feel?

Sorry dear but saying "I'm still crazy about him“ ,"we decided to just be friends" hmmm strange feelings to combine , if you really still into him just ask about his feelings , if you shy or scared to ask directly just joke it like (those girls around you are so lucky , poor me :P ) his response will let you know his true feelings.

Ps: a smiley face at the end of any sentence will break the tension of any conversation ( my opinion)

You're right! I'm having a hard time handling this because I like him more than a friend but decided to play along as friend. It sucks!

Better to decide this relation ship boundaries and wither it should continue or not , maybe it's better to confirm than regretting later (again that's just my opinion )

In my experience, I maintain attraction for a while, but eventually it fades.

He moved due to his job so we couldn't continue seeing each other in person. we decided to stay in touch as friends
