Everyone has a different opinion when it comes to sexual values but come end of the day, you gotta do what's right by you, and if you're with someone who isn't on the same page as you, then neither of you are doing yourselves any favors.

What do you mean he doesn't "value" your virginity? Does that mean he wants to have sex while you want to wait for whatever reason? If you have incompatible views on virginity and sex then that could be an issue unless you find some way to compromise. Sexual compatibility is an important aspect of any relationship. It doesn't just mean having similar sex drives and liking the same things, it also means have similar values and views when it comes to sex. So, maybe you should just try talking to him about it.

I think it is a respect thing you obviously value it and he should respect that - It is like if you had a strong belief in something, he should for allow you to have that belief within the old adage that it doesn't harm/abuse you or anyone else. I am afraid if anyone had that attitude with me, it would be a bit of a dealbreaker.

i don't really understand how virginity is useful or useless. but generally speaking a partner NEEDS to value you the things you value, or at least respect your belief in the values you have. if the partner doesn't respect your values then you are most likely going to have a difficult time in the relationship
