Been with my boyfriend for a couple of years, its been rocky and we've both regrettably lied about stuff we shouldn't (no cheating). He's 28 and i'm 25. Last summer he told me he didn't want to do the whole lads holiday because he was too old, this year he's decided he's going to. He's the type of guy who takes many girls back when he's on a night out, so obviously i'm not happy with him going. His friends are the same and egg him on. I've tried to explain i'm not happy with it, and that he's in a relationship so needs to respect how im feeling (surely?)..
He's told me he's going and to 'like it or lump it'. Am i unreasonable? I have trust issues and up till now he's tried to do everything he can to reassure me, but now he's doing the opposite. I've told him if he goes, I can't carry on the relationship because of the lack of respect he has for the way i feel. I dont trust he won't do anything, and even if he does, I know he would never tell me which is the worst part. Am I in the wrong here? he's said
'i'll go on holiday with you as well..'
As if that makes it all ok?
