Boyfriend is mad that I posed nude for a friend's college work?

He's barely even my boyfriend but let's call him that due to a lack of a better word.

My friend is a fine arts major. It was purely artistic and not very explicit anyway. She used 3 shots for her project: one of my belly, one of my collarbones/neck and one where I'm sitting butt naked on the floor. The 3rd one is the most graphic but really all you can see is my back and like my buttcrack lol.

This "boyfriend" got really pissed that I let someone photograph me like that even though this happened 2 years before I even knew he existed.

Is he being irrational or is that really a valid reason to be mad at someone? I feel like at this point he's just trying to pick a fight honestly.

I don't think he is trying to pick a fight. It happens, when you care for someone, no one would expect such actions from from the person he or she cares. May be he got feelings for you and he cares for you. Who knows how people might end up using those pics... not your friend but there are others too who have your pics. Instead of over thinking and blaming him, just come to peace with him. Sometimes you have to apologize even you are not the one who males the mistake, this is one of the time. So, just apologize and tell him that it won't happen again.

You can be mad and he can be mad.. and both can be mad at this. But, it would dent whatever you both are having. Just make peace with it and take off the load from your head.

If he is not matured enough to understand that it happened in the past then there is no use to explain him. You can give explanations to such people. If she doesn't act matured then the fight prolongs and it leaves a dent. So, in order not to have any of the conflict you can just put an end to this stupid fight with a small apology. It the time to show maturity and let go of the fight. If he had understood everything then he wouldn't have made this issue at all.
