Is abstinence till marriage a deal breaker?

So I am currently 26, and still a virgin, as I am following abstinence till marriage. Not for any religious reason, more personal choice. But most people I tell it to, seem taken aback and that it is a waste of time. I don't believe that a relationship needs sex to be successful, but I'd like to hear your opinions on it.

I wouldn't do it, and I don't think a relationship (besides marriage) NEEDS sex, but I don't think waiting would be worth it for me.

a relatiinship does need sex to be sucessfull in my opinion. its not all about sex but u can't simply remove sex from the equation.
