Why do men always change for the worst after initiating a relationship or getting married?

OK ladies, I know you have been thru this whether during dating or being married. why is it that when a guy is courting you he tries extra hard to impress you. takes you to nice places, etc. Then, 2 or 3 months into the relationship they do a 180 and the romance just ends. it like after you enter into a relationship and give them the goodies (your panties) they completely change. All of sudden those times he always wanted to spend pampering you , you now can't tear him away from the grip of his friends. Oh and said goodbye to random flowers and candy because that just goes out the door with the romance.

I am not saying the romance completely ends but its never like it was in the beginning. Its like after being with someone for a while men just don't even try anymore. It kinda pisses me off.

All of sudden they don't call as frequent as before. They still do some nice things for ya but they don't try as hard as before the relationship and the good sex.

Why do you men act like this?

If they're sucking up and trying to impress, honestly, they're not being themselves. It's when they're finally comfortable around you and things simmer down that you open up to each other as you truly are. That's when people show their true colors. Sadly most men don't know how to court women properly to convey their real personality and resort to putting on a fake face to "get the girl". Although women are just as bad in that regard, if not worse. Many are more interested in getting married than really getting to know what a man is like or all about, as some think they can just change all that bad stuff.so long as they get that ring that's all that matters. (seen it multiple times, so those women do exist, thankfully I learned how to screen women, which is something all people should do--don't just stay in a relationship if you're not 100% truly happy with the other person)

Yes! That's why Nice guys finish last because they are all fake! It is not because they are nice that they finish last but because you ladies see through the bullsh*ts. So, to answer your question, no, not all men act like this, just the "nice" ones. Like anything, if it is too good to be true, chances are it is.

Yah, everything lessens, after they know they have you. The challenge is gone. They won all your attention, time, and loving. So, what's next?

Doesn't necessarily mean they don't love you as much or what not. They just feel more comfortable, and secure with the fact that you won't leave them.

After 3 months or so, they already know a lot about you, and your lifestyle. They know what your daily schedule is, what you're thinking, what you're feeling, etc. No more mystery to solve, so they lay back and chill.

I mean, are you into challenges/games? Are you into solving mysteries? You know the feeling when you are trying to win something or gain something, right? And after you get it, you don't fight as hard anymore, right?

It sucks, but there are many ways us women can bring back the challenge, and mystery ;)

Relationships can never be the same as they were in the beginning, I suppose.

Expecting relationships to stay the same is like expecting a flower to grow on its own. You have to nurture it, feed it, water it, etc; If you don't care for the relationship, it dies.

It takes two to take care of a relationship too.

Early on in a relationship does the woman try harder to pamper herself to look better for her man? Does she do nice things for him too without expecting anything in return?

well I can't speak for all guys, but from past experience its the thrill of the hunt, once you got it, its not important anymore.everyone loves what they can't have, .EVERYONE

but, I always make sure to randomly give my girlfriend (ex now) flowers etc just to say I love you.but obviously it didn't matter, now we are done

the main thing is to be upfront about everything to start and expect the same.EVERY relationship has the "new" stage, but if both are clear about what they want and how important certain things are without putting on a front, it won't be that bad.women do it too you know
