What should I do when my boyfriend calls another girl prettier than me?

We've been together for only two months and I brought up something he said long before we were together that still happened to hurt me today. He used to call me beautiful all the time before, and he told me several months ago that this one girl was the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. I felt lied too back then and we didn't talk much after that. Several months pass and now we're together and I asked if that was still true and he said that it was. I feel hurt and lied too. What should I do with the relationship?

Okay keep in mind I KNOW THAT I'M NOT. I forgot to mention that I expected him to be more filtered when it came to him talking about other women.

Accept it because you are not the most beautiful girl in the world.

That said, you can say "[Boyfriend], I don't need to know what you think about other girls' beauty. It makes me uncomfortable."

I will give you a warning though: If you say that, then you are putting limits on his ability to express himself. You are setting up a barrier to his getting closer to you. This will eventually ruin your relationship... with ANY AND EVERY man.

So, really, the best thing for you is to get over it. You're not "all that". As long as he is not abusive constantly talking about other women's beauty, then no real harm is done.

If my girlfriend would tell me im the most beautifull guy in the world i would really ask myself if she is not crazy.. cause i know damn well im average.. and a lot of other guys are prettier than me.. the question is.. do you think there's not another girl prettier than you? I obviously am not prettier than she is but now that him and I are together I assumed he'd be more filtered about other girls, he knows i get jealous quite easily yet he still said that to me.

Hmmm I think you're a bit overreacting because u can't deny there are pretty girls out there. And its not all about looks anyway. If your boyfriend finds a certain girl pretty it doesn't mean he doesn't like you or that he would prefer to date her (well, depending on what kind of person he is) so I think if he's loyal u shouldn't pay much attention to that. In the end he's with you, not with that girl.

There are nearly 8 billion people on this planet. Odds are that you aren't one of the most beautiful. So unless youd rather be told lies to protect your fragile ego, i wouldn't worry about it. Also, how did he lie to you if he told you quite honestly how beautiful another girl was?
