I call my boyfriend cute quite often and it doesn't seem to bother him? My ex however used to hateee being called cute. Do you guys hate being called cute or? And if so what do you guys like being called?

I like to play like it bothers me a little to be called cute because I think it's cuter that way.

The only problem is that when girls say cute it's more often a platonic thing. So if a guy receives it that way then it's like a compliment that actually means she doesn't find him attractive, which should obviously be annoying. Only that part would be annoying, being called "cute" itself isn't inherently annoying and it's good if I know it comes from a place of attraction.

No not at all, when a girl calls me cute it makes me feel so warm on the inside and happy. Lucky you get to know your boyfriend in person. My dream girl is on here, were really close and she calls me cutie all the time and I love it. But we only ever met on here never in person😓

I mean, I like if I'm being cute (i. e. in terms of behaviour) because that just means I'm being appreciated. But calling a guy cute in terms of looks is a bit like calling a girl handsome, it just doesn't really fit with how we want to be seen lol
