What do you do if your boyfriend's friends and family hate you?

I think they hate me. We've been through a lot, I never cheated or even had anyone else, he has though. But I'm worried that when we've fought he's gone and said stuff to them in the heat of the moment.

On his best friends face book his status was 'f*** up you slut'. I know I'm making assumptions, but it may have been about me. I haven't done anything but my parents and friends hate him cause of stuff he's done to me, so his probably feel the same.

What do I do? He insists they don't, but as if he's going to tell me. It makes me feel like I can't be with him, or come over and see him cause his family or friends are always there? I hate the situation, and I'm worried his friends will encourage him to get other girls ( they have before). I'm feeling like I should just give up, and start fresh. But I love my boyfriend.

Well if I have learned anything about being in a relationship its if you have a fight you cants run to your friends or your mom and dad. It will make them hate the person you are with. When things settle down they only see the bad because that's all they have been told. ITS LIKE A BUT NO NO to do THAT. If he has done that he needs to stop NOW. I did that once. I got in a fight with my man and went crying to my sister. She told me to stay at her place and not go home because mom and dad don't need to know what's going on because they will hate him. Well I didn't listen and went home crying. Well its never bent he same. That was 3 years ago and they still don't like him as much as they did. You have to be able to sort out your own problems. I would talk to him again and tell him how uncomfortable it is for you and how you feel. Try to put him in your shoes and show him how you feel about it. He can't change how they feel about you if they don't like you. BUT he can stand up for you and not let them put bull crap on there face book. When my parents say something that is rude to my boyfriend I put them in there place and its getting better because I am not letting them be rude. That's something he needs to do.

I could less what my family thinks about my girl. I'm the one whose with her, not them. They will just have to deal with it, should they feel uncomfortable.
