Do you think the concept of love is underrated or overrated? Why or why not?

The reason why love is underrated is because people don't understand real love. Fake love is overrated though however. Fake love is simply either loving a narcissist or loving something that is not human. Basically fake love is loving something artificial and loving someone that happens to be a narcissist. The truth and sad reality is that mainstream media and Society pushes narcissistic narratives and sadly the whole idiocracy that comes from a lot of the political sides including the left the right and pretty much everyone who has a blind eye, has forgotten to see the truth of real love. Love is something you cannot force on other Isn't Love is something you cannot be forced to do love is simply developing our relationship with others and finding a spiritual connection with them. Even if you don't call it a spiritual connection, it is still the feeling of love. Hate can never fix any problems as well as cause narcissism, hurt other people, create Hippocrates and close-minded jerks, but love will always bring people together and can even change the hearts of Darkness. Love can bring light and Redemption. I have many philosophies and I plan on writing a book that is a philosophy on love as well.

Well society as a whole tries to put in our brains the "American Dream". Go through school, go to college, meet that special someone, get stable jobs, buy a house, have kids, your kids have grandkids then you die. Also media of all kinds promote love between 2 people as something as the way to your happiness in life. With all that said, I will say it's "overrated" but not the way you think I mean. It's overated because it's like hearing the same song on the radio for the hundredth time. It's the way some people find happiness but it's not the only way. Also having love for mankind instead of hating it helps your own mood and outlook on life. Also love of mankind can bring help to those who need it when it looks bleak for them. It's hard to generalize the opinion "if love is overrated or not" because love as a word means much more then the feelings between two people

I really think nowadays it's underrated. When you find the right person, they can make life feel like a fairy tale. The way everyone's treats relationships nowadays, that definitely isn't the common mentality.

It's overrated when you're young
Then you meet someone that changes your view or what you thought love really was
As you get older it becomes underrated

Naw it's getting to the point where I'd rather be financially successful and not find love than spend all my money on a woman
