Where have all the good men gone..?

This will sound mean but its been a while since I have met a guy that takes care of himself and that I can actually have a decent conversation with...where do you go about finding men of good quality?

I know guys will probably say the same about women. But I am just getting frustrated. All the guys I am physically attracted to are man whores..and it's been a while since I have been genuinely mentally attracted to a man. I am losing hope :/

In this day and age too many people want to find their soul mate by clicking a button. I am on a dating site looking for new friends. I am not trying to lead anyone on, I'd like to get to know these women before going on a date with them. Unfortunately after a few messages back and forth, they don't respond. They don't even explain why they aren't talking to me.

I at least will give the person some closure. Something like I appreciate the time we spent talking and I hope she finds what she is looking for. Etc. I think women get discouraged because I haven't read her mind about when the perfect time to ask her out is.

I think that if women would simply ask questions, perhaps they would get real answers as to why guys do things and don't do things. Then they would tell their friends and those friends would also ask men directly. Don't worry, I lost hope too.

Girls have convinced themselves that the way to find a man is to go to the club, or to find some Edward Cullen who's super super exciting and does 100% of everything right. Women these days have insane expectations, and because of the club scene attitude they actively avoid decent guys.

Well I understand, but you are attracted to the wrong guys. Believe me the nice guys are too shy or lack confidence and the man whores or OK looking guys and have the confidence and the social skills the we look for. Just take your time and be more selective and you'll do fine. Oh, most quiet guys will want to be your friend first!

Why? because you ask other questions about only wanting bad boys and partying.

good guys are all around you! But its your over bloated and selfish ego that keeps you from finding one. And most likely if you ever got one you would Cheat on him or ditch him for the "bad boy" because your after the "fun life" you see on MTV.

Honestly how do you woman get to College and not know how to find a decent man? I'm honestly Sick of dating because all I get are people like you who rather be abused by a bad boy then deal with an actual relationship. And 95% of you have NO real concept of the word love.

Wow, generalize much? For the record I have never and WILL NEVER cheat on any guy that I am with. I am a nice girl, I'm not a partier and I'm not chasing the "fun life." I want a good relationship which is why I want to get over the whole bad boy thing. And I'm not one of those girls who just "ditches" guys. My last relationship was for 2yrs and I DID LOVE HIM. You sound bitter to me, don't put your issues on some girl that you haven't met. I am far from the girl that you are making me out to be

I am quiet, and shy and nerdy. I am very family oriented and I will be friends with anyone. When I am with a guy I am loyal and I will do anything for them. Do I fall for guys who don't deserve for me to treat them so nicely? Maybe. But that doesn't mean that I don't deserve a good guy. I am not selfish or egotistical. I will admit that sometimes when I date bad guys I do it because I feel like I should be treated badly. I don't know why. I am a sweet girl looking to fix her bad taste.
