  @SouthernGirl23 I agree. It's like the time someone my mom hadn't talked to in years called her to tell her she saw my dad out with a younger woman. My mom had to tell her, he was taking his daughter to lunch because he was a good dad. This woman ended up just being a busybody for no reason.
  So basically OP does not know this womans situation. They may already be on shaky ground, or maybe she is ok with it. And maybe he is a terrible person, but if you don't know them well enough to know their daily business, then you don't know them well enough to get involved with something this personal
